When is the best time to visit?

Each season has it's attractions. April to November are the prime months for visiting and enjoying the outdoor spaces. The Christmas and New Year's holidays are also notable for the special local celebrations. 

Are the house and garden family friendly?

Yes, however, the property is best for children over 5 years old.

Is the bridge as steep as it looks?

Yes, it does get quite steep toward the top. Most people walk the entire bridge in 10-15 minutes with a few stops along the way to enjoy the views.

How do I get my luggage up the bridge?

Many travelers can roll small suitcases up the bridge with a little extra effort. There is also a tractor than carries luggage up the bridge and to the house for 5 euro. 

I read online that visitors pay an entrance fee to visit the town. If I rent the house, do I have to pay that as well?
